“WATER SAVINGS PROGRAM
ACUALOW – ECOWATERS ”

Through the ECOWATERS Savings Program of our company REMOX, we supply and install HIHIPO Technology equipment recognized worldwide as a leader in water saving systems, imported through ACUALOW COLOMBIA, through which effective savings over 60% in water consumption at points of consumption such as sinks, dishwashers, showers and toilets, washing machines, etc. in which the saving equipment is installed.

The average savings achieved, considering leaks and other variables in the system far exceeds 40% of the bill, since associated with the consumption of water, the same savings in the sewage component is obtained.

Through Law 373 OF 1997, THE “PROGRAM FOR EFFICIENT USE AND SAVINGS OF WATER” was established, which was regulated in its application and obligatory with DECREE 1090 OF 2018 of the Ministry of Environment; understanding this program as a set of projects and actions aimed at implementing by the users of the water resource in our country; which shows some effort of our society to assume the serious problem of the shortage of fresh water worldwide.

Until the end of 2018, agreements have been made to install, and consumption measurements are made with the latest versions of the ACUALOW / ECOWATERS savings valves, in institutions such as:

• Faculty of Engineering Universidad del Cauca – Popayán
• University Hospital del Valle – Cali
• Franklin Delano Roosvelt Children’s Orthopedics Institute – Bogotá
• Free University of Colombia
• Dann Hotel Chain

The HIHIPO Technology uses a pressure self-generation system, by maximizing the use of the kinetic energy present in the hydraulic flow, so compensating the losses presented by other filtering systems or “aerators” that are sold alone or together with the taps of known brands, which present savings of less than 15% but with pressure losses that deteriorate the quality of service.
